Another student from PGRi University in Palembang wrote achievements at national level.
Sulistia Febriyanti, a student from the Geography Education Study Program (Prodi) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas PGRI Palembang, won a gold medal in the Mok’s Taekwondo Championship South Sumatra.
This girl, born in Lampung, February 4 1999, won a gold medal in the women’s senior class under 62 kilograms at the national event which was held at GOR Dempo Jakabaring Sport City Palembang on February 29-March 1 2020.
This event was attended by participants from five provinces, namely South Sumatra, Jambi, Lampung, Bangka Belitung and DKI Jakarta.
This 2017 class student admitted that she was very grateful to Allah SWT and proud of the achievements she had achieved.
“I say thank God to Allah SWT because at the Mok’s Taekwondo Championship South Sumatra I managed to get on the first podium. I would also like to thank my parents who always provide support and to my friends and Geography lecturers who have given permission for this championship. “My hope is that this year I can take part in the National Student Sports and Arts Week (Porsenasma), and in the following years I can win in every event and hopefully PGRI University’s Taekwondo will always be successful,” he said.
The Chancellor of Universitas PGRI Palembang, Dr Bukman Lian, MM, MSi, congratulated Sulistia Febriyani for winning the event.
“Congratulations to Sulistia who has brought the good name of Universitas PGRI Palembang to winning the South Sumatra Mok’s Taekwondo Championship as first place and bringing home a gold medal. “Hopefully in the future we can achieve other achievements and what we dream of can come true later,” hoped Bukman.
The Dean of FKIP Universitas PGRI Palembang, Dr Dessy Wardiah, MPd also expressed his congratulations to Sulistia Febriyanti for being a winner and getting a gold medal.
“I congratulate Sulistia for winning first place in the South Sumatra Mok’s Taekwondo Championship. “Never be satisfied quickly, keep learning and practicing so you can continue to make achievements for a brilliant future,”
